Need some help from the Gutter Clearing community please….
I’ve been running my business for several months now so feel quite adept to the challenges of clearing gutters out there but I want to ask you about which camera you use to help confirm gutters are clear whilst completing jobs?
I have a gutter vac with carbon poles allowing me to fix a small action camera within a waterproof body to use live action view whilst clearing gutters. It has proved very useful as sometimes going from end to end you can miss debris by ‘feel’ alone so I am convinced to use a camera and want to continue doing so. My issue is that I’ve gone through 5 cameras during my 6 months of trading and it’s frustrating as well as costly.
(If you’re still reading here at this point, well done; I do like to spin a yarn…)
Should I be investing in a more robust camera whose WiFi button doesn’t get pushed in and becoming unusable (or have remote WiFi / Live view access instead)?
or
Start looking for a waterproof case whose outside buttons don’t bash the camera WiFi connector to make it unusable for what I need it for?
