I can see them being awesome with hot!

I use the extremes with natural bristle, they are deceptively good at scrubbing. To look at them you wouldn't think it because of that natural bristle they are better than some brushes twice the weight.

I also have the tucker boars hair, that brush the bee's knees at shifting muck but at 260-280 grams when dry is a beast if using it all day.

The Gardiner Dupont hybrid is a very very good brush, at 180 grams its ideal for daily use. I would like the Dupont bristles to be a bit stiffer though. When using natural bristle you can really feel the brush "grab" the glass, if you push down on it a lot it be a bit harder work, but when you need the extra scrubbing power it's unmatched.

I bought one of them Phantom hybrids too, I wouldn't recommend it, its ****!

The glass is always cleaner when using hybrids/boars hair.
the xtreme natural bristle brushes are good at scrubbing but i had to bin 2 new brushes after a few weeks of use!really annoying!because the bristles matted up into clumps with hot water and thus ruining the brushes......no way could they be separated...?

I had a customer call me back a few years back because there was a hand print on their new kitchen window that they thought was on the outside. I couldn't see it on the outside when I'd cleaned it but when the sun shone through there it was. It was actually inside the double glazed unit. They had to call the company back to replace it.
It's amazing how often I come across marks and finger prints in between the panes. You'd have thought they'd be pretty careful about touching the inside of the panes seen as they're gonna be sealed. One of my customers has the top spec pilkington glass with activ coating which is expensive and one of the panes has a large orange serial number scrawled on the glass in crayon they never bothered cleaning off before assembling!

As already mentioned I think we can all miss marks on windows at some point, this time of the year with people been outside more I will pay more attention to patio doors I watch out for marks and how the water is moving down the glass in case it moves around a something I haven't seen first off or doesn't appear to be drying in the same way which may indicate greasy fingers off kids I carry a magic sponge cut in half for an extra bit of cleaning power which blitzes greasy prints in no time

Worst I'd had in that regards was after halloween and one of my customers windows had been pelted with eggs. They'd baked on for months as this was before they'd picked me as a cleaner. Had to charge 50% more for that as was a scraper job. Was worse for another home in the town, the young heathens had thrown a whole pumpkin through the window. Too much chocolate? I dunno.

bird strikes can be tricky too even with hot water!sometimes you need a squirt of degreaser(i use virosol) to remove them if the greasy residue of the birds feathers have marked the glass.....

Went and had a look today. The handprints were a child's. They were very evident as soon as I looked at the glass. How did I miss them? There's always a chance they were done after I cleaned and before daddy had got home? I re-cleaned them and sent a text saying I'd done so. No reply.

Hi Paul, where did you get your tucker boars hair brush from, plus can you put a gardiner quick loq socket on it. TIA

I've got a full boars hair brush, it's very 'grippy' on the glass. I haven't used it in yonks. I've been using an Ultimate medium brush for the last few weeks. While cleaning today I was wondering if the brushes on the market these days have enough bristles to do a decent job? Over the years the super-lite medium mixed dual trim has 'lost' bristles and now looks halfway towards an extreme as does the ultimate.

Easy to miss them, especially if it's a sunny day
Or had one to many lol.

@Tuffersthis happened to me last year got called back to a house that had child’s hand prints on patio window, fortunately I was just around the corner and returned with in a hour or so and without a shadow of a doubt the print marks were as fresh as a daisy  the glass was spotless above completely around and below the prints, I recleaned the window without fuss  and then dropped her by txt a couple of weeks later with some excuse that No longer clean that road as she was the only customer.

He will be getting dropped then? tell him he needs the insides cleaning they look filthy ?

Nobody’s actually thinking about the glass while cleaning are they? I just go into autopilot, daydream and hope I don’t miss anything.
