Have you tried exceed blue hose?

Try disconnecting pole hose from reel hose between jobs.

That blue ex-ceed hose is brill but I found it plays better if you boil it for a few minutes then lay it out flat and straight whilst hot and letting it cool down before re-coiling. This is all I use with my trolley. It also has an ID of 5.5mm which gives noticably better flow over the 5mm of Gardiners all season hose, I find anyway as I like running at full flow

that usually happens when its cold,i also use the blue exceed hose on both reels and back packs.steves tubleless idear combined with the univalve gets you through the day much faster earning you more spondoolys
