if a windy suspects you of grassing him up you will end up with slashed tyres, and imo you would deserve no less

To be honest if a custie left me for one of these cheaper ones and then came bk because the new ones were rubbish then I'd just bin the custie lolIt's NOT your work as customers decide who they want NOT you /emoticons/biggrin.png
Are you a beer cleaner?? That's the sort o stuff I woul expect from one.if a windy suspects you of grassing him up you will end up with slashed tyres, and imo you would deserve no less
lol, no im not a beer cleaner, im an actual cleaner, unlike you i believe? funny how you have got opinions on what you should do when your not even started yet, lolAre you a beer cleaner?? That's the sort o stuff I woul expect from one.
So just to confirm your happy that you went to the effort of being legit and spent countless hours canvassing everything and spending loads of money yet this bloke is not insured or nowt comes and takes your work you won't do nowt in case he slashes your tires...... But it's ok because he gota feed his family.....
well saidddddd its not the window cleaners fault /emoticons/smile.pnglol, no im not a beer cleaner, im an actual cleaner, unlike you i believe? funny how you have got opinions on what you should do when your not even started yet,lol
if an uninsured cleaner came and deliberately undercut or specifically tried to take my work by unfair means then i still wouldnt grass him up, id probably just have it out with him and end up clumping him, but like someone else said there not my windows, they are the custies windows and its up to them who cleans them, if the uninsured guy just happened to canvass one of the houses i clean and my custy decided to go with him for any reason then my problem would be with the disloyalty of the custy not the new window cleaner.
add to that im of the mindset that grasses are scum, much worse then the odd beer windy that would never get any of my custys even if they tried as they dont look as professional or do as good a job as me, so id rather concern myself with my business rather then theirs, if your worried about losing custys its down to your work or your price, end of
im not disputing that the ones being grassed are scum, im sure most of the time thats true, but i obviously have a different background to you and in my world you dont grass on someone thats not directly affecting you, i would consider it if they were going out of there way to take my customers or interfere with my business, but otherwise why would i concern myself with what someone else is doing?Grasses are scum??? get real the scum are the people they grass up. Doley benefits scroungers, lowlife human garbage.
Can't see one good reason to tolerate the vermin.
Yes I can see your point of view in that. I just believe that as a society we put up with too much right across the board from people who are working the system because people look the other way.im not disputing that the ones being grassed are scum, im sure most of the time thats true, but i obviously have a different background to you and in my world you dont grass on someone thats not directly affecting you, i would consider it if they were going out of there way to take my customers or interfere with my business, but otherwise why would i concern myself with what someone else is doing?
You may have a different view on things when you spend a few thousand quid starting up, Pay your tax, have insurance/licence and then another window cleaner comes and canvasses your work and offer to do it cheaper cause there working illegally most of the time still taking handouts from that thing we call a government.if a windy suspects you of grassing him up you will end up with slashed tyres, and imo you would deserve no less
1, i do pay my tax and insurance and have overheads, and i still view it the same. 2, its not your patch mate, it never has been and it never will be, 3, probably 85% of the members here are new businesses or start ups, including yours i believe? so if anything its more likely the beer windys patch that he's been doing for 20 odd years than yoursYou may have a different view on things when you spend a few thousand quid starting up, Pay your tax, have insurance/licence and then another window cleaner comes and canvasses your work and offer to do it cheaper cause there working illegally most of the time still taking handouts from that thing we call a government.
Screw that, if your own my patch you better be legal!! I believe the saying goes an eye or a eye lol
That what I was trying to get at do, I Gussie if they didn't anoy me or take work then I wouldnt care as muchexactly, and i do get your point too, like i said if i thought a beer/dole windy was deliberately trying to take my work then id do something about it, just dont see the need to get involved in other peoples lives if there not directly getting involved in mine
You only need to go to one of the companies that are kitting vans out.I know this subject has been done before many times but this week it has really been obvious. So many new vans around cleaning windows that I have never seen before. All signwritten and very professional looking.
A trad guy came over and asked to see my wfp setup. I didn't mind, even let him have a go but I could imagine a lot would have told him to **** off.
This business is getting very saturated now. Its still about the easiest business to start if you get slung on the scrapheap made redundant.
