squeegee app woes/questions

WCF

Help Support WCF:

I use the squeegee app too and have had problems where it doesn't automatically update information straight away, e.g. I mark a customer as paid but go into invoices and it doesn't show that they have paid, so what I always do is close the app and restart again, has worked for me every time ?

next time you mark the customer off as paid, try going into the oweing section and they should have disappeared from that list, ie marked as done and now paid.

it works for me and, its about the few things that do with the app, you could try updating the app from say the apple store to see if that improves things or call them if you can't get any joy.

@RyeCleanLiamis a proper techno geek on this and could help you if you are stuck on anything

All theses issues are done away with by using spread sheets I have said it before and will say it again why make a simple job complicated I started off 20 years ago with only a handful of customers using spread sheets now with 3 vans on the road I still use them never have any problems and doesn’t cost a monthly subscription , I will not have my buisness at the mercy of some 3 rd party who may solve any issues quickly or they may not , unless you are running a huge 20 + van outfit there is just no need for theses things , the more people I speak to about theses apps I find that the vast majority of them have had issues of some sort , I have over 20 friends that use them all have had problems , of one sort or another . I openly admit to being a technical dinosaur but evan ones who are switched on with theses things get problems so as far as Ime concerned I will stick to the paper records , it doesn’t disappear , crash, not work ,won’t delete or loose stuff, ??

Most people have no idea of how powerful Excel actually is. There is very little you can't do with it. If you want a a very advanced spreadsheet pay an Excel specialist to build a spreadsheet with all the macros functionality you need..

Would not surprise me if a lot of the systems being used are Excel based...

I prefer it on paper. Once a month I just go through my customer list and mark down on the following 4 weeks, when they are due, with room for deviation as required. Admittedly, will become a little more time consuming as I get more custom, but not much. only takes me about an hour now, so max of 2 hours down the line. Simple enough to  mark up where someone hasnt paid etc.

Yes exactly we have 3 vans full of work and it takes my wife less than an hour per week to sort it all out .
