Thank you for the advice. I’ll give this a go in the next few days and see if it sorts it. If not, I’ll  place a order with yourselves if I decide to buy another one (haven’t completely ruled out trying some sort of fixed connection, if something of the sort exists). 

And sorry, I understand you can’t guarantee something won’t be faulty but good to know if I do order from yourselves I have a warranty on it.

We bought 2 of these from Alex about 10 years ago. The one on the hose reel has an amasing amount of play in it now, but it still doesn't leak. The other is a spare that hasn't been used yet.

One of the cleaners on the other forum adapted a Sealey Valve assembly to fit.

Its for a Sealey GH80_v2 hose reel and the swivel is Part Number GH80.v2-01.



You will have to work out how to fit the swivel as it has a male thread. It will be a female female double socket.
