yes it used to be quite big but with age it seems to shrink so now i have a big one and its great...it really does the job....and the pressure is better, but i do find it a strain on my wrists when i use it....

i am of course talking about unbleached irish linen....okay ....scrim.....i used to cut it off the roll at a yard square and it was okay but with age and use it just gets smaller so as i was coming to the end of my thirty yard roll i decided to go bigger and cut at a yard and half...or metre if you dont vote ukip....

and its great but boy it does take some wringing out....i dont do so much scrimming these days with the advent of the blade but its great and gives a lot more pressure on the glass...if i dont break my wrist ringing it out...

and the same can of course be said of my blade....i now use big norris a lot more...he is a full 18 inches and on patios its great.../emoticons/smile.png

Ive got a big 18 incher as well. It ploughs through conny windows. Never used a scrim though.
scrim is great but it has to be just the right moisture content to do the job..yeh big norris is joining me more than ever now....i had to move him to the front as he was giving me a wet elbow but got it sorted now.../emoticons/smile.png
