Hi has any one had a problem with tulsion resin think I have had a bad batch , company basically asked me to send it to get tested so this will cost more money , changed to unger and a don't like change , and every thing fine now with tds readings

Never had a problem with either I'm afraid. Hope you get sorted.
Ye Ave never too , but this batch I have and the company I got it from is basically saying , its strange that it's off, and ask me to send it to another company to get tested and then if its faulty they will refund me ,what a bloody hassle , also change resin to unger and the problem solve , so defo the resin

We don’t use resin any more. A new membrane usually gets our 280tds down to about 3ppm. Once it gets to 8 or 9 we just change the membrane. Resin is only kept for an emergency.

Probably bought a fake batch... plenty of it out there

I sometimes have to smile when I hear about resin complaints. And I'm not saying some aren't justified.

About 6 or 7 years ago, a fellow window cleaner asked if he could share a bag of resin with me. He had some expensive van repairs and was a little short of cash.
So I split a bag of Tulsion MB115 with him, which I had just put on order and awaiting delivery.

He later complained to me that the resin I bought was rubbish, and he would never buy Tulsion again.

Yet my half lasted me as long as every other bag did. I write down my water consumption figures every time I replace prefilters and resin, as I have my r/o on a water meter.
He lives a couple of stones throw away from us, using the same tap water. The only difference was he was using a Merlin, and I was using my 4040. He was passing judgement on this resin's performance when he had no clue how much water he was using and also didn't know his r/o's rejection rate.

cant remember the last time i used tulsion but never had any issues with it before the ionic resin fantastic price seems good so far
