You still using yours?Shame. Love ours.
@MJK I’ve got a stingray. I don’t use it an awful lot as squeegeeing is just easier on any internals I do (all residential). I think it’s great for maintenance cleans on awkward and large panes though (especially if you don’t want any drips). If you get one make sure you get the grey heavy duty pads for it. The green pads say they’re for light work but I found them awful, and just used the grey heavy duty pads all the time. Overall it’s quite lightweight aswell, and although I haven’t used the longer extensions, I’ve used it with one section of the extension poles and it’s very good. I think the stingray design has changed since I got mine (different fluid tank). I’ve also got the unger grey rectangle pad holder you can put on a trad pole and spray with pure water and that’s also quite good - again though the heavy duty pads for it are much better than the standard ones. If the windows are grubby though then maybe still better with a t-bar and squeegee and then drop a car cleaning towel down to catch drips. You still using yours?
I have 2 offices i clean and it is 90% partitions and this could be ideal tool for light dust from air con and the odd finger print.
Anyone elses thoughts on stingray ?
Not going to use it for dirty windows so won't be dirt to push around. Partitions inside air con offices only. should be ok for my needs and quicker especially as using it for what it is meant for. It's absolute sh*te. Tried my very best to like it few years ago but it simply pushes dirt around the glass. Heavy duty pads are definitely better than the green one but if a window is in any way remotely dirty, I mean even a little bit.... the stingray is useless. Plastic clamps have all cracked several times on the poles. Waste of money, haven't used it in years.
Thanks for the constructive comments. Will take on board what you said about the grey thick pads. Should do the job fine for cleanish partitions.@MJK I’ve got a stingray.
