hi
i want two reels both secured in van when in use, but i also want them to be able to come out of the van when not in use, whats a good way to mount the pure freedom reels to make them detachable as well as secure.
many thanks
sam

Depends on how quick. I have my single reel mounted on unistrut, so to remove I just undo 4 bolts and the electrical plug and it would lift out. The unistrut is bolted through the van floor so that stays put.

Ah ok that could work, how does the reel attach to the unistrut, sorry may be an obvious question
Unistrut has special nuts that sit in the channel and lock in. You buy them by thread size and channel size, they have a spring on to hold them up in the unistrut, I think they are nicknamed Zebs. I then used appropriate bolts that go through the reel mounting holes.
Unistrut is available in most electrical factors, like CEF. If you pop in they will probably show you the unistruct or a similar different branded product and the nuts.
I did a thread on fitting my reel and you can see the unistrut : https://windowcleaningforums.co.uk/...l-and-through-floor-rollers.37322/post-528875
Hope that helps?

For my two Grippa reels - Less posh but I have a single 10mm bolt through the floor, it acts like a stud - the bolt is permanent, I just take the nut off and the wee spreader bar / unplug the cable and put it comes for maintenance etc.
Just the bolt thread remains sticking up
