Hi

I am using a univalve which is normally great but today when i pulled the hose to stop the flow, there was still a small amount of water flowing through the jets.

When i pulled again to start cleaning the windows the flow was much less than it should be and that burst of pressure you get when you first pull the hose had disappeared.

I have read somewhere lately someone who had the same problem but i can't find the thread.

Is it an air lock ? If so,how is best and quickest way to fix it.

Any ideas ?

Sounds like an iffy Univalve. If it were me I'd probably take it apart to try and see what's going on. But then I like to fiddle and mine are all over a year old. Still got the original three I bought from the first batch ExCeed sold. Try contacting ExCeed and see what they say.

If you buy it direct from ExCeed I believe they guarantee them for 12 months and will honour the guarantee.

You get 'free' o clips and you don't pay VAT when you buy from Exceed direct. (Or you didn't a couple of months back.) You can also decide to pay another £10 for the same item and get an 18 months guarantee.

i think theres a service kit for these available from exceed and in it includes the o ring which i would say needs replacing

a simple fix if you go on you tube and watch the video

I can't see it listed on his site @kevinc250. He listed the o ring for a brief few days and then removed it as a spare. The instruction video was also removed from YouTube. Has he replaced it?

I see the price has gone up by 10% as well; from £29.95 to £32.95

.
