That’s a luxury electric reels! I feel sorry for the shoulders of the lads who have their reels mounted on the van floor or those who insist on lifting them in and out all day long.

Agree with you.

My reels are mounted either side of my tank at chest height.

This means one reel is wound in with my left hand the other with my right, so not constantly using one shoulder.

Also at that height, I can reel in underarm or over arm, so using different muscles.

Never have shoulder issues.

As for the speed, I’ve got good quality reels and grippatank stainless rollers fitted, so reeling in and out is a doddle and fast.
