As some of you old timers on the forum know. I am a Window Cleaner that walks, uses a bike with a trailer and has many ladders dotted about my hometown. I am always looking into cutting down what I carry around. One thing I use is a ladder stand off. But, recently, I have been giving things a go without it. I purchased some ladder mitts and I seem to get around fine. Apart from the odd window over a porch etc. I have purchased a Wagtail Combi with a small 2m pole to over come the difficult windows. Was just wondering how you guys and girls get on with the Wagtail. Seen lots of good reviews, just looking for more feedback really!.

@Posh and me love wagtails:thumbsup:

practice on ya own windows you can check how ya are doing

good tips on here too

some cant get on with them:rolleyes:

I couldnt work without my Wagtail, but I never use the flippy pad thing, it can be a bit of a pain in the aris, rather just use a tbar.

wagtail squeegees are absolutely ..........................................................fantastic. as said above prefer to use a seperate Tbar for the scrubbing, i did 6 months with the flipper pad and almost killed both my wrists due to the weight im sure . iv had no problems when using a seperate Tbar

when i have been practicing with my wagtail its the flippin flipper bit that i dont get on with either

maybe youse guys way to go is best way for me too

when using on trad pole do u use their angle adapter @boarcity and @TolishAPurd ?

I agree with ya Norm. I seem to have trouble keeping the scrubber under the T-Bar when applied to the window. I can see why some say they use just the T-Bar to clean and use their own washers instead. Would really like to take the Wagtail further. Although, I suspect it takes a great deal of getting used to!!!

i,m another wagtail lover , to start with did,int like the look or feel ,but i use it when mainly doing pole work with the flipper

once you get used to it hayho your on your way

i dont use the Wagtail angle adapter very often . just use it if i have not enough room to stand at the right distance from the window [such as in an alleyway], then its a handy idea to use the angle arm

I don't have the seperate angle adapter mate. But I have the short handle thing, which has it fitted on the end. Its very useful for 'just out of reach' windows, and then you can just flipp it round and stick a srim on the top for detailing. For pole work I couldnt be without the unger angle adapter on the end of an optilock pole.

thanks for reply guys

i am going to mess about tomorrow with/ without angle adapter and see what i think works best for me as the wagtails i bought arent cheap as yous know and i havent mastered them with pole yet so they aint earning:rolleyes:
