Warning about rubber flat roofs

    Warning rubber flat roofs can be very slippy when wet as I found out :D

    The one I was on turned into an ice rink when it got wet :rolleyes:

    I did not realize at time the rubber flat roof in some areas had algea growth on it that I could not see until it got wet.

    Lucky for me I did not slip over on my **** nor fall off the roof but was a bit of a close call.

    Was another man pants moment I can tell you so be warned :D

    Fibreglass ones with algae on are the same like ice rinks lol

    yep with you on that camcap...the roof itself wasnt wet but my ladder feet were....and i got up and decided it wouldnt happen again...er...it did...i not like fibreglass roofs anymore....:eek:

    ta for the warning smurfy although i dont think i have to go on many i will be careful now...

    yess indeed. rubber and anything thats damp or wet = zero grip .
