Waters works hd electric reel. Belt snapped

So I’ve just installed my third 3D reel in my van after the belt slipped off of the previous one (which replaced my original after the belt snapped). Waterworks insist it was a bad batch and it was a mistake on their part I wasn’t contact & had it replaced before it happened. They say the new reel has solved all problems. I’m dubious but can’t fault their customer service. New reel has the new motor so is a lot faster, which is nice, and also comes with the new push button rather than the old style yellow one. Hopefully third times the charm and that’s the last time I need to worry about it!
 

If it breaks again it’ll be refund time & I’ll be ordering a PureFreedom one. Anyone tried Ionic’s electric reel yet? ?

I've had the grippa one since march,  fantastic piece of equipment. not got the others to compare it to but I'd definitely recommend it

It looks like a toy reel compared to the pure freedom reelmaster!?glad you got it working again though mate....?

No they are good reels I have 6 of them working 8 hours a day , and 2 pure freedom reel masters they are a nice reel and very heavy duty but not without their faults .

I agree to be honest this is the first problem I've had with the reel, I like the fact its not Bulky, I would have been annoyed though if the belt couldn't have been fixed now it is I'm happy.

As for water works staff they've always been helpful and very quick at getting stuff sent out next day.

Glad you are pleased with it and had no problems , I have had a couple of them and unfortunately had a number of problems so have changed to pure freedom for my personal van ??? cannot believe it but they arnt a bad reel , bit over engineered and very heavy but work ok .
