How is that possible? You would think it would be better for it lol I had a look around and theres a few companys that do window cleaning that use there pure water for pressrue washing tooI believe pure water will affect pressure washer pumps if not flushed out, plus the chance of blowing out seals on the windows (for an all in one app).
Jetmac have these extensions pal
You sound well chuffed with it. I want to see picturesWell here I am again lol.
I've tinkered with this again this morning and totally surprised myself again, so much so that I've decided totally against getting one of the higher psi backpack versions.
All I've basically done is take off the curly hose and use a length of normal garden hose, the green 12.5mm stuff. I've taken off the trigger as well and replaced it with a hozelock tap and theres so much output at the brush I have to turn it down and it doesn't take anywhere near as much pumping up. The hose is just wrapped around the pole a couple of times to keep it from hanging down, it's a lot less cumbersome than the curly one, it's lighter and I have to add that before I cut the hose to the length I needed I had 25 metres on it and it lost no pressure or output at the brush whatsoever.
The only thing I'm going to do now is look at building this into a larger vessel that I have already as 8 or 9 litres doesn't really last long enough and put the hose inside the pole which is a slight problem because of it's external diameter but I'm thinking that if I reduce the size right at the end I can get it through a smaller hole in the pole.
I'll upload a picture later from same angle as earlier one just to show how much more pressure I've released at the brush end, I had this at full extension stood on table in garden lol and it will now reach 4th floor easily. 7 quid sprayer and a Harris pole, go figure.
Alot of fire power! lol. The water looks like its flying out there. How long does it last you?Just put a picture up mate check out last pic on the first post in the thread
Aslong as its doing what you need it to, its all good. Not long enough mate, I'm guessing an experinced wfp'er could easy do a couple of big windows though on 10-15 pumps.
For what I want from it though that's enough, I like doing trad so it's just for the real hard to reach ones every now and again.
Thats on full by the way, 2nd floor I turned it down half way and was easy enough power and lasts longer.
Yep, wouldn't for a second recommend it for more than occasional use although it would do the job but it does what I wanted it to and that's enough.Aslong as its doing what you need it to, its all good.
lol, nah he's the man is the H-Man or at least he will be when he shows us how to make that diy wagtail.Your the new H-man lol
It almost does now Chip, flows that good I have to turn it down less than half way so pressure lasts longer and I'm putting a better piston I got into a 30lt barrel I got hold of which is strong enough to hold way more pressure.I've been offline a few days so a bit late cottoning on to this thread, in short dodger, this world isn't worthy of you my friend, not even close!
If you could get it so that one pump session lasts enough for the whole barrel, id be very excited!
