i cant stand my nano trolley pain in the butt

i threw the streamline pole,hi flo dispenser,8mm red hose and aqua daptors in the bin, gave away the hydra pole to another window cleaner, chucked both gas heaters on the tip, returned the gas bottles......to be fair the trolley lasted me for a few years when i started WFP 10 years ago but it was hard work humping it around, that too ended up on the tip when the controller broke!?

you live and learn.....i now have a perfect set up for my needs

i get what your saying and im always checking out you tube videos and the forums but when you look on facebook groups you see quite a bit of stuff for sale that is nearly new because they didn't like it. It would be nice to see what mistakes people say they made to help others for instance i also regret buying an upright 350L tank i wish i went for a 400L lay flat for better van stability as i only have a small van

Experience is the only teacher that gives the test before the lesson.

That's why I ask folk on here before I buy something. I was going to buy a 1000l tank but someone said my van would be over weight. I was going to buy a single man system and they told me on here what happens when your business expands or it breaks so I went for a two man system. The answers are all in here but you have to look for them or ask. ?

Honestly I have nothing that is garbage. I changed trades two years ago but did alot of window cleaning in my early teenage years. I've followed the industry closely and picked up some valuable and seasoned advice helping me make the right choices

Bought about 10 squeegee channels until I found the Liquidator. Bought about 10 squeegee handles till I found the contour pro plus. So i was forever giving away squeegees to my mates. Have about 6 PW lances but I can use them. Bought a £1700 nozzle which I use for decking or monoblock but a twin turbo nozzle does the same job. Bought 3 wfps, 2 extremes and an slx, I don't use the extreme 35 because I don't do any top flats but if I do, its always there waiting or I could sell it for £900.

Only thing I need is an £800 Generator 5kva which I will get in the summer. I need a clear out because I have ran out of space so my buying days are behind me. ?

Bought a Power Up HD reel just after Xmas. Ignored the warnings about the chain coming off and ordered one. On the second day of using it, the chain came off and twisted and bent and really disappointed me. The customer service of Window Cleaning Warehouse was fantastic though and they issued a full refund there and then.

So went with my other choice, which was a Pure Freedom Reelmaster and, despite being more expensive, was and is a million times better than the other one. It’s engineered fantastically and everything has been thought of, in case anything ever needs replacing. Have had it in the van for a few weeks and am very, very happy with it.

Only 2 items I regret buying:

1...telescopic ladders:

I'm  always a bit dubious using these for safety and they are a faff to put up, it's just easy to get my normal ladders to do the job.

2... Gardiner  backpack:

Not dissing the product ( it never came out of the box and I sold it to a contributor on here). For my work my van mount does everything and it was just gathering dust.

Both these products were recommendations on here as was absolutely everything else I bought for a succesful trad to wfp changeover.

So all in all only 2  clangers dropped I did pretty well for all I spent.

what if you get a terraced house that needs the back windows doing wouldn't the gardiner backpack come in useful? or would you just say no to the backs?

backpacks are handy for chemical application or if your vans off the road.....they have got me out of a few sticky patches in the past...its always worth having one(with a foldaway trolley, bungee and 4 barrels)...you never know when you might need one......

I do 2 terraced rows on my round and when I've done all the fronts both sides I move the van to the end of the backings and do the full run I also do the fronts of my next street without moving the van.

The backpack is a brilliant piece of kit, it's just that as yet I can't find a use for it.
