What is your worst water fed pole purchase

WCF

Help Support WCF:

I thought you would have learnt your lesson from when you ended up giving **** loads of work for free because of inadequate rinsing?!

No it was because I did a pvc clean and put neat degreaser on my brush and ended up streaking all the glass. Never fear, my hot water is working and I have 5 brushes now and a permanent degreaser brush. ?

But if you’d have rinsed properly it wouldn’t have been an issue ? I’ve washed a couple of frames and windows with virosol and just rinsed without cleaning or changing  the brush with perfect results just to test. (I’m definitely not advocating it though! Haha)

I only had a flocked brush with 100% fan jets so the pure didn't really leave the brush. So the brush never really left the glass and left them all streaky. Customers were fine when I did them all again for free and a lesson learnt. Like to have plenty of poles and brushes now in case I need them. ?

Really? I’m just about to buy a 350L upright tank for my first van fit out.

From reading on here most say avoid flat tanks as you’ll be getting airlocks once the tank starts to empty?
Happy to give it a second though though if people can work with flats without too much bother
I've got an upright 450lt in my peugeot partner, brilliant.

I use a 650 litre flat tank in a Mercedes Benz Vito. I am very happy with it. I fitted a nylon non-return valve very low down on the tank side and very rarely have any problems with airlocks. I personally think 350 litres is a bit tight even for a single operater.

I have a 350l tank and haven't ran out yet. I don't do any more than 6 hours at work (when I'm out on my own) though, but when there are two of us (which is twice a week), I organise work so that we are close to home for the second half of the day, so that we can nip back to fill up whilst having a cuppa.

We use the Pure Freedom pump and controller on around 30-35 flow rate each.

Facelift Sideline radius brush, came with a phantom 18, the pole is great, the brush is massive, 38cm and weighs 410g, found it way too heavy and after using it on 1 house it's been in the garage since

Heavy, whippy fibreglass poles, and Vikan brushes, when I started out. I took the advice of the supplier. I didn't have the experience or knowledge to make an informed choice.

I soon learned ; partly through experience and keeping an open mind. But I also got a huge amount of valuable help from reading the discussions on this forum. ??
