What vehicle do you guys use?

Get it mapped get a dpf delete and egr blankThe van will run much better and cleaner

it is now illegal not to have DPF on any diesel car / van unless manufactured without them, the Egr is not really a problem as easy to get on and off to clean ;-)

Peugeot bipper 1,4 turbodiesel automatic , lovely and powerfull little micro-van for wfp , having 350l tank mounted and its never lacking engine-power :thumbsup: Bout 16-19 Km /L

I have a Vauxhall combo lwb,it has stop start on it.All new vans have dpf filters to meet eu emissions.

These vans don't like short journeys so every now and again you need to take it for a blast and keep the revs high and you shouldn't have a problem I haven't with mine.

On most you can turn the stop/start off.

Yeah ! The first thing i do at start is Turn that feature OFF ! Hate it and frankly ... It cant be healthy for Any diesel engine ..

Hi guys ,Don't post much but do enjoy reading the posts and have learned a lot from ll you guys !! Just a quick question what vehicle do you guys used for your rounds? Got my self a 2010 fiat Doblo Van but been told that diesel vans and cars for that matter don't like the stop starting especially if they have DPF (Diesel particulate filter) on them.

My van has now the engine light on and the DPF is clogged up, and been told by my mechanic that it is the wrong type of vehicle to do stop start driving.

So going to get it sorted then go for a petrol estate car I think

your thoughts please??

Do not buy a Fiat Doblo petrol. Most sluggish van I have ever driven, in fact I'd say that they are down right dangerous as there is no acceleration what so ever!

02 Transit double cab pickup for me. Dual purpose vehicle for the bins as well. Rear seats removed to store my pumps for the bins. Thought of changing it recently but it's only done 60k and drives bob on.
