Cheers mate have you just.kept normal half inch hose then from water out? And kept all same pole hose and reel hose etc ??Hi Paul, I've just mounted that model Eccotemp 5l this weekend,it's awesome and great how easy dirt come off now. I haven't changed my hoses though,I know there's some kind of thermo hoses to prevent the heat loss ,but that standard microbore yellow kind works fine ,even in -2 as we have right now.But do be carefull ,its really sensitive and you dont have to turn it up Much from minimum ,it heats great . Easy to go too High.
Paul, for your water out, use anti torsion hose. (it wont expand with hot). Remember to jubilee clip everything really tight, warm hoses will pop off if not.Cheers mate have you just.kept normal half inch hose then from water out? Would appreciate some pics of your setup and where you set dials etc if can please?
Thanks mate
Good advice from garwood there ! Haven't thought of that, but I'm a newbie to hot water myself. Anyway, I guess the hose size is a bit smaller fitted to Danish standards, but it's the same garden hose size I've used earlier. Everything is the same in fact. Now I go , tank to pump, to DI ,through gas heater, to reel .Cheers mate have you just.kept normal half inch hose then from water out? Cheers steve is that what they actually call the hose? Or will any hit water.hose be the same mate? Also what sort of temp should I use to be very safe.side.not to crack glass etc? We've fitted some chimney of a flex aluminum pipe . ,wrapped it around the grill at the top , but Pics on way. It works outstanding even without the optimal thermo hoses. But it all has to be tight. Be careful not to over tighten the fixing in the gas in ,water in and out of the button ,use the gas tape for all 3 fittings. It all comes with the package. If you got anything that's not tight enough, clips etc on your water gear,it shows when the hot water comes along ./emoticons/wink.png
I will ! Hope that vans soon out of the shopCheers yeah aporeciate some pics asap mate.. pm me or just post on here. Thanks
