That’s engine oil i believe, what about pump oil?Yes! We have recently modified our engine oil recommendations to state that you may now use a synthetic 5W30 or 10W30 oil in all temperature ranges. We recommend the use of Briggs & Stratton Fully Synthetic Premium Long-Life Oil.
I use the above but you have got to change the oil filter. I try and change both every year now.
Hydraulic oil? If so then its, Gear oil, EP80W-90 GL-4 is the stuff I use. I buy 5 litres of it.That’s engine oil i believe, what about pump oil?

Just ask the folk where you bought the PW from.I have the AR pump
A quick search suggests some SAE30 oil for the pump, ideally a non detergent oil as that handles being mixed with a bit of water ok. Gearbox will probably be differentI have the AR pump

It would appear the spec should be on the plate on the pump. Looking at a random AR pump manual there is a table that suggests 10W30 or 10W40 is best but check your exact model on the ar site: Industrial division | Annovi ReverberiTop man, thanks for the info
