Also I found out very quickly using a trolley and having to fill and hump enough water containers about starts to get impractical and inefficient the more pure water you get through in a day.

How many 25litre water containers do you need to carry in your car each day, to do 13 house a day plus your commercial work?

Most tubs I've used in 1 day is 8, but for 13 average size houses providing they are not first cleans its about. 3 or 4.

Just blasted another 330 houses with leaflets, the trad window cleaner didn't looked too amused though. Even though I gave him the good afternoon sir greeting.

Surely you cant clean 13 average size houses properly with just 75- 100 litre of pure water?

I'm yet to start with WFP, should be starting my first cleans with it a week on Monday, but I am planning on using 25l per house, I am fairly sure that is going to be plenty, at least that is what I am hoping as I have 10 25l barrels on order /emoticons/smile.png

This week 67 normal cleans, 4 commercial, 3 fascia and gutter cleans, 2 full bungalow cleans (inc facscias and gutters and conserv) picked another 3 full cleans while doing one yesterday. Cheapest being £130. And 4 commercial jobs. I still leaflet at least 1 street per day if I'm busy, whereas when I started I was knocking out upto 2000 a day plus follow up door knocking 3 days later. Granted I'm fooked and worked the first 8 weeks at 12 hours a day but I think it's payed off.

You're that busy that you're posting on a window cleaning forum at 11:23am 12:12 and 14:05?

hmmm interesting post....dont think it will end here ...funny enough....i was going to ask you all what you did in the two snowy winters..not last winter which was a ok but the two before...me sat on me ar se watching tv but i a lazy bug ger..

i went out to do one requested one against my will and watched as -9 in the afternoon sun froze up my applicator soap...

yeh plenty of work around here but i too busy to go get it or too slow on what i ve got but....theres always tomorrow..../emoticons/biggrin.png

I fully aim on working through winter as if nothing is happening, I only passed my car test 5 years ago, up until that point I would ride to work on my motorbike regardless of ice/snow/sleet etc, we are made of tough stuff round my way /emoticons/biggrin.png

Though I am a bit concerned about water freezing on the glass.... not sure how we work around that one lol.

yeh dont worry too much about the water on the glass freezing as the heat escaping from the house stops it most of the time...but ...watch out for the unheated porch

i thought it funny today was our first really cold night ...all our house windows sopping wet inside from condensation..so off i go to work with ...wooly hat scarf...cardy...and gloves..did two houses and it all came off...later on...strip off and get into shorts...you cant beat the great british weather...hey...and i was starting at ten...not an early starter...yawn...
