Winter gear to wear

I am going to try fingerless merino wool gloves with neoprene canoeing mitts (with open palm design) over the top. I prefer breathable and warm as opposed to waterproof so hopefully hands don't stink from sweat all day or suffer if water seeps in.

The combination should allow for quick dexterity when needed, breathability, windproof and of course warm in wet conditions. The open palm mitts gives you better grip on the pole and when you need your fingertips you just pull them over your fingers. I have used these in the autumn so far but have yet to test in combination with the merino wool gloves in the really cold weather.

Update to this post. Those Merino wool gloves barely lasted the week before getting holes on the side of the forefinger. So switched to these instead Merino hybrid tube gloves

If you were to use the hot water system for cleaning windows and not fannying around with lights you would have warm hands all the time ????
Cleaned her windows and put the ladder up to do the lights when I noticed the porch gutter was full. So decided to clear it out and it was freezing. Should have charged for 3 jobs instead of 2 but it's Christmas time and I was feeling generous. Then picked up another job in the process. All my jobs take this effect when cleaning my neighbours windows. Looking at a LWB VW or Sprinter and maybe a smaller tank to load it up with equipment, never been so busy. ???

Don't go with a small tank, can't you get your current system transferred across?

A YTube window cleaner suggested these gloves . . . I use them and they are really good. Whip them off for bare-skin-action then whip them back on again to keep dry, toasty warm and sweat free ! I don't know yet about longevity but so far so good.
