Electric pressure washers

Recommended Posts

Kranzle are a world apart from any other brand - but at those prices you could get a petrol washer which is MUCH more powerful and will do the job in half the time.

A standard 13A socket can provide just under 3hp with a good quality motor before it overloads - the cheapest petrol machine is 5hp and if you spend £600 odd you can get a 13hp machine with a few extra bits,...

I used to do a lot of pressure washing & would say that 99% of the time petrol is the way to go & 13hp is a good size machine to start at. Try www.jetmac.co.uk for some decent machines at low prices.

Honda engines are best, but on a budget a Loncin engine is a very good 2nd choice that will save a fair chunk of cash & is still serviceable & repairable using honda parts which are available everywhere. Get a brand name pump that you can get parts for too & you're good to go. :)

Tips in choosing a pressure washer: The more force that the washer is able to produce and rate of the water flow, the more cleaning power you will have. You'll be able to finish your cleaning job more quickly - but higher powered units do have a higher price tag than lower priced units.

Stating the obvious there .

On my wish list there is also an electric system that uses low pressure which creates surperheated water that does not damage the substrate (blast the fook out of) called a doff system. Also another one simular as a chap left that company and started up on his own which branded name is Thermatech.

Mind you the price they go for you could by a whole container of karcher k2's :D
