I currently have my R.O plumbed to an outside tap.

I am moving into a new property (rent) next few weeks and i dont think there is an outside tap so i might have to plumb into the mains.

Anyone plumbed theres in ? any idea what fittings will be needed?

want to get fittings in advance so im not messing about at last minute trying to plumb it it.

cheers

What's your TDS Adam...round here it's only 95....still got my RO but switched to 2 x 16 litre double DI system got fed up of faff with RO on all night plus I'm on a water meter.

I'm currently on my first 25 litre batch of resin and monitoring how much I get out of it......will monitor it again when I change resin in vessel one  and two as this will give an even higher amount.....I used just one vessel starting out till reading went to 2 then added second vessel so the 2nd set of resin should produce more if that makes sense.

Am at 4900 litres at the moment and TDS from 95 at tap to 65 out of first vessel.

4900 is a rough and ready figure as can't accurately measure it but I'm erring on low side so could well be more.

Tds on average is about 150

Seen it anywhere between 100-200 on occassion

R..O id definately cheaper, not interested in going back to D.I only

You can get fittings that tap directly into the mains 15mm copper pipe under the sink. Two minute job to fit. I got my RO from Ro-Man.com and they came with it. You can get them from hardware shops too for outdoor tap fittings. Search for self cutting tap.

Or a fancier one:-

Turn the water off and stick an isolator and t in. Prob 15 mm copper. Get some squash washers!

no, it's too hard to implement
that's why it's necessary to call a professional plumber.
don't do that on your own as you may hurt the sink
