If you have a strong advertising strategy (website, facebook paid advertising, leaflet distribution) you can make a good living out of it. Just buy equipment that is up to the job. Nothing worse being halfway through a job and it fails.I'm thinking of starting up but not sure of whether you can build a reasonable business just around pressure washing or not

Totally agree. There’s no way on gods earth could I go out window cleaning on a Saturday after doing it all week.I'm the same said green but after long winter on windows only and few enquiries regarding pressure washing I've decided I'm going to do the ones I fancy still
Come Friday I've had enough windows so add on will be rainy days or weekends

Personally think it’s impossible to get pressure washing jobs to keep you busy 5 days a week all year roundI'm thinking of starting up but not sure of whether you can build a reasonable business just around pressure washing or not

Aye it can be done, very slow this time of year and from October onwards really. But Ive managed to get it so that i work from feb-November solidly with the peaks being a rush in early Feb (first sunny day gets the phone ringing, also helped by throwing out a good paid ad at that time on facebook) follow on calls from reccomendations and drip feeding paid ads at around £10 per week keeps it going until the next main rush (pre easter) then steady away until the doldrums of the six week holiday, picks up again early sept and trails off through the autumn until downtime again. I do make the majority of my income from pressure cleaning now.I'm thinking of starting up but not sure of whether you can build a reasonable business just around pressure washing or not
