welcome packs

WCF

Help Support WCF:

I live in quite an up market area which is why I have been considering going with the welcome pack and going more Marks and Spencer than lidl

Oh lovely. Post some pics if you do it.
We have given away some decent branded stuff but not packs.
Its still in the potential planning pile at the minute, we will be sending out branded Christmas cards at Christmas with gift certificates in them.

like full printed folder set u back a quid then add ur vouchers and printed sheets in and time ur talking 2-3 quid per folder but it is an investment and very good looking wouldnt waste my time with them this time of year but wud get them all ready in winter then give out in spring be better remember time is money

we employed P dale to canvass for us and continues todo so to "fill gaps" and improve rounds.
The packs were created to reduce customer calls, complaints and questions.

On a new canvassed customer i would say;

Hi It's Damien from LGB Vision i am here to clean the windows. Here is a free info pack, don't worry no contracts! Have a read through while i clean your windows.

After i have cleaned the windows i would re knock. Customer knows how we clean, why we clean using the system, when we will turn up and how to pay.

On some jobs direct debit has been set up before i have even finished the house.

I am aiming for 100% customer automation. This means hardly any contact.

I want my customers to;

Search for a window cleaner

Find us

Set up direct debit

never think of us again.

I want them to see window cleaning as a bill not a luxury or a whim.

I have been going down this route for nearly 2 years. It's a fantastic way to run a business (may not be for everyone)

We are family run and this is still evident.

Today i spotted a wasp nest at 2.45pm customer was textd and my father called in at 5pm to treat. 6pm the nest was done.

with regards to the packs i have.....

Type of customers

Is New Build Vs Old Build Vs Young customer Vs Old Customers.
I've got a wasp nest damo what's the best way to get rid?

No I would just give them out Jake, but then I also can't afford any yet /emoticons/wink.png I think damo said he gave them to look through while cleaning and got them back afterwards. Horses for courses, I'm sure it works sometimes, I'm sure some people don't care or want to read it anyway. I just speak to them and say 'oi your gutters are filthy, I am going to clean them now and then you will give me some money for it', no folders needed /emoticons/biggrin.png

No no lol. When you have to do close to a 100 new cleans one after the other. It gets boring repeating yourself or answering the same questions over and over again.

So i decided to make a pack to stop certain calls, complaints or questions.

I have done close to 250 new cleans in just under 18 months and the packs have paid for them self in time saved alone. However answering questions about my packs and explaining is eating up my film time tonight lol /emoticons/tongue.png

Diwrnach, 50 for £70 isn't too bad, I'd be interested in them. When I looked last year for something else, I was finding things like a min of 500 and £2-5 each, I was looking for some fairly fancy ones though /emoticons/biggrin.png

Ahhh sorry my bad, I didn't realise you just gave them away. Certainly makes more sense not to hang around and let them read it when / if they want to!

Yeah that would be mad!

I think it's something I would do for the more upmarket customer, but not for joe blogs - he just doesn't care, he just wants a window cleaner...

I think it's a good idea to save all the questions and complaints though Damo,

im pretty sure theyd get read AND kept . iv still got welcome packs from years ago . as said by jimroot erlier if they have a free gift inside all the better , a pen or bottle opener . im now leaning to getting something like the vistaprint brochure idea but fit that inside a slim fox fur [ or possibly ocelot fur ] lined box .

Great idea how much does one of them cost and what info would you put inside?
Well Boars would put something like this.....

Welcome, you fu*&(ng $lags, shut your face as you don't know nuffing! Pay me my f&^king money even though the job aint finished! And be warned I will shout, scream and stamp my feet till I get what I want my way, and then you can f^*k off!!

Don't forget to use your voucher for gutter cleaning now!

Of course I am paraphrasing, I'm sure Boars will put his own finely polished touches to it.

Not winding anyone up, reckon he probably has it pretty close /emoticons/tongue.png

I've done one or two bi fold and tri fold brochures that are quite good enough for this kind of thing. Basically a flyer but print them on card.

Have maybe a bit more information on than a flyer including discounts etc.

I also did one that folded so that a few separate flyers could be put inside. That's the most cost effective way.

You start giving out ones that look like boxes of chocolates and I'm guessing customer will start questioning how much you're charging.
