liquidator is cr*p

I agree with most of what you've said, but there are some things that I would like to point out. I've been working with Wagtail for a number of years, it is angle cut and used with a wash pad on it. I also have an ordinary squeegee, slightly larger, for the bigger windows, this is angle cut at only 10 degrees, as I also have no problem with corners. They both work extremely well, and with this experience, I'm surprised that the Moerman creates this situation.
Are you talking about the technique issue? If so the wagtail is very similar to any straight unmodded channel IMO, whereas the liquidator is unlike any other I've tried (modded or unmodded).

I think it is over dog eared for some (ok for me)

I think it is a great idea having the plastic ends that are pointed. I pointed a channel years ago and the scrapping on the frames drove me mad and that's why i have not dog eared any of my trad gear.

If they could bring out a liquidator with say only 30% of the bend so i could be a bit more aggressive with it it would be a winner for me.

I have to almost agree with TolishAPurd at the mo.

But lots more practice for me and different angles and handles to try before it is thrown in the garage because i think it is a bloody

great idea. If all the testers have come to this design i must give it a longer go than what i have.

Right

I have been very critical about my liquidator, I didn't want to do any mod work when i got this squeegee.

I already did the boiling water today and pull the blue tip back a bit with pliers but wasn't successful.

But few hour later I was determined to fix this,it didn't cost me an arm and leg if i break it. I boil it again and really pull the blue rubber backward with pliers as if i was trying to snap it in half, it really did make me wince doing this to a smart looking squeegee.

Well it now it seem to be working! It doesn't leave the soap behind when i drag it across the windows.

Still not 100% happy with till I know over the weekend the blue tip wont go back to the old position causing to leave the soap behind.

What are you pulling with the pliers?

Just squeeze the very end of the underneath part of the clip

Glad it's working now

If you have been pulling the blue tip upwards/backwards to take the pressure off the ends of the rubber instead of squeezing the lower bit inwards to grip the rubber then i am afraid you just ****** the clips and it won't 0 detail a lot of frames

That is what i think you've done by your description

I did do that but it didn't work,

I don't know if this make sense but the blue tip had a really deep curve like a small hook which cause a gap when dragging it and left soap behind.

Hi I have loved reading all the moaning on this forum about the liquidator. I have been a window cleaner for over 30 years and till now the humble squeegee has basically stayed the same there have been red blue pink black but still a squeege I don't remember unger getting so much stick for the Ninja the most over priced and flawed squeegee made what's that all about wipe the blade and the clips fall off great when your up a 3 part ladder. This is just my humble opinion I think Moerman and all who have helped bring this product to the market should be congratulated while it might not be 100% its 99,9 at the moment and does cure a problem that will help not just a gimmick when people like Ferrari can bring a car out costing £150000 that bursts into flames I think Moerman deserve to be given a chance.

When I got mine I couldn't get on with it but it was the clips so I did that .

But it was leaving a trail of water and I just adjusted my angle and my technique as it doesn't like tight turns it likes soft movement it has took me a week to adjust but with patients I have cracked it and it works a dream . It is like a surgeons knife you have to be careful slow down

I did slow down James but not for long

I am quite quick with them and combined with no detailing i am actually quicker

You've seen i can throw them around the glass now with no problems

I know dave I have seen quite a few if your vids and you are very good with it . But I haven't really used a mod squeegee so I t has taken me time to adapt . But now I know my angle a technique is likes next week I am going to speed up

Just don't sacrifice the quality of the job James

I really do think this has turned into a marmite channel

Those who love it and those who don't

If like TolishAPurd you have altered your technique and given it a good go and still want to use the other channels out there then good luck to you but i think people need to give it a good go and work with it not against it and they will be surprised how quick they can work

It sure has dave but I think there are some out there that are just going to slate it whatever is said or done . But for one I am very happy with the results I am receiving with it now as I have worked with it and adapted

Hi dave the blue tip is only to grip the rubber .

What I did on mine didn't take the clip off dipped the channel rubber clip in boiling water for a few secs then crimped the cavity were the rubber slides in job done I had same as you too start with then I just adjusted angles and technique

When I fixed mine I started with the rubber in, but then dipped it with the rubber out and squeezed the clip hard so the bits were touching. I did this a couple of times and then plunged it in cold water. Worked a treat.
