I get the same problem also! It leaves a band of water across the top just under the frame. Not on every window mind, I guess it depends on what type of seals it has.

Top tip for the top of the window mate, once you have applicated the window use your sill cloth to detail the window at the top before cleaning it with your squeegee. Just a quick swipe from one side to the other it leaves an excellent finish at the top with the liquidatorI get the same problem also! It leaves a band of water across the top just under the frame. Cheers. I've heard some window cleaners do this but not tried it myself, always open for trying new things so I'll give it a go, see if it helps :thumbsup:Top tip for the top of the window mate, once you have applicated the window use your sill cloth to detail the window at the top before cleaning it with your squeegee. I've seen other people doing but didn't understand why. I done it by accident on a big job i do twice a year or what ever was removing spider sacks with the sill cloth and then squeegeed and realised it left a nice finish. I haven't tried with a standard squeegeeCheers. I've heard some window cleaners do this but not tried it myself, always open for trying new things so I'll give it a go, see if it helps
I've pretty much tried every way poss with varied results, including polz's vertical backhand pull up into the corner before pulling across the top. All these styles work, sometimes good sometimes not so good!Try this wayJust filmed this to show how i do the top edge with the liquidator on thin seals
Seems to work better than starting in the corner for me

Ahh Spider sacks! We're at that time of year where throughout the day I watch little spiders slipping down the glass in a mess of soapy suds before I take them on a magical squeegee ride....poor little spiders :devil:I've seen other people doing but didn't understand why. Yep! Same thing happened to me once, cleaned our living room windows inside and out and later when the sun was setting, shock horror, lines all over the place! Then the worrying starts, have I left lines like this on customers windows? No complaints so far though.I did our windows before heading out yesterday and thought it was a good job, woke up this morning with the sun rising and saw this. Ive tried all sorts of ways. I've done going up the left starting near top the going across to rh corner then down a bit then start going across again making passes. Also started in middle sliding to the right then down a bit then back up to middle to the left then going as normal. What's everybody's way of using soap with water? Do you put it in bucket with water, soap on applicater or on window using straight water from bucket.
