Shurflo pump fitment

Hi guys. I've got the normal 100psi shurflo pump but wanted to know what fittment screws onto the pump to connect either 6mm or 8mm hose and is a jubilee clip better or hozelock connector on the pump ? I want to connect straight to my hose reel in the van. Thanks 

You could use John guest fittings screw them into the pump works well

1/2".

You need to use a strainer or pre pump Shurflo filter.

We then use the standard Shurflo pump connector which comes in either straight or elbow depending on your setup.

We use ordinary O clips to secure the hose onto these connectors. These O clips come in various sizes and what you order is determined by the OD of the hose you are using.

I do like the continous clamp action of the O Clips Gardiners sell. Here is an example.

It will be one of theses but give them a ring to double cheak first I think it’s the half inch threaded one on Gardiners web site

The problem is that the Shurflo pumps for window cleaning have 1/2" male threads.

Ah ok Ime sure that you could get an adapter I would take the pump to a plumbers merchants and see what fits , the Gardiner pumps are imperial not metric

True. he could then use those push in straight or elbow hose barbs that Gardiners sell.
