Last year i posted about the 3d printer i bought and mould making equipment in the moneysavingtipsforwindowcleaners facebook page! the idea was to make my own prototype/ tools etc for window cleaning well this company is doing the same i can see a lot of our tools in the future being 3D printed!

3D printing will be good for large suppliers for when they run out of stock all they will have to do is print more!

Asda in Coryton,Cardiff have a big 3D Booth which can produce either 6'' or 8'' tall figures of yourself....can't remember how much they cost.....but they look spot-on .

thats scary for the amount of change we are aout to face...now real products of strength and quality downloaded off the net..no need to shop no need for a lot of companies and sorry but...no need for china any more....press a button go to sleep and out it pops..

and before you say it...I know...its early days...it costs a lot of money and they stop printing and ask you a question when you are not watching so half the time it doesnt print out..mind you that one does send you an email...

but real changes are coming...and just think....if you have a 3d printer and you print out the parts for a 3d printer you can make one for the bedroom...now what could you make that you could use in the bedroom?

I want one now..../emoticons/biggrin.png of course I want one with rollers and a side exit so my new slx can print and roll out section by section...

I can see some companies dont like this idea....

Sounds like you need a phd in being a nerd to design the parts you want then operate one though so that rules me out then
