Spent the day installing a power up hd reel. I ordered it back in November just haven't had the chance to get it set up till now.

Had to make a raised platform above the plastic trays I use for waterproofing for the reel to be secured to.

Fairly pleased with the result. Hope it works out well tomorrow.

It's the wrong way around?

Mayb it doesn't matter though. All

The vids I've seen are the other way around and that's how I've just installed mine.

Does yours reel out and back in with not too much resistance from rubbing on the black guard? That's all that matters I guess.

How do you leave your van open like that with out the fear of someone robbing it ?

Where I work I'm not really too worried about people nicking stuff. I normally just back up on a customers drive so it's not clear from the road that the van is open. If I'm working somewhere that I'd rather have the doors shut I just flip up the hose guide and the door still shuts with the hose out.

Yeah technically it is the wrong way round. I just prefer the hose coming from the pump to be on the right. Plus if the motor was to fail I can still wind it in by putting the handle on the left side. Which I couldn't do if it was the other way round. It doesn't seem to rub on the black guard so it's all good.
