I think it's currently impossible to buy a house (unless you're in a god forsaken part of the country) WITHOUT outside help - inheritance/parents/grandparents helping out with deposit.
Goodness knows what the next generation are going to do... Live at home till their 50's & 60's and wait till their parents snuff it.. :37_disappointed:

once my rounds full im putting as much aside as i can so when my kids are old enough ill be able to help with a deposit. Plus the rent ill charge will get them out, i want them gone by 21, maybe 25 if they go to uniGood for you mate.

That's what the mrs and I have just done for my oldest son.
