0000 for tough bits on glass?

I dont trust myself using a scraper I don't personally have enough experience with them or do I like them at the moment. I saw an alternative to use 0000 steel wool. Only wondering if this is going to be okay ? There is some tough bit of dirt stuck on the glass. Would it be safe to rinse it with water then scrub the 0000 on it? I am going back in a couple days time so need to make the right choice.

Soap it up and try 0000 it is great on glass. Dpending on whats stuck on the glass you might need to use a loosing agent such as Ubik to help the 0000 do its job.
