I'd of charged about £25 for the first clean on the windows then £45 - 50 for the cladding.

You could always make up for it by painting that fascia round the door.

I painted 4 window frames for one of my custies the other week and charged him £45.

He wants his hedges trimming next.

Little one off jobs can really top up a weeks wages when you don't have a full round yet.

Best keep an eye out on fleebay, gumtree etc as you can pick up good kit like the ankalad and microlite standoff as new sometimes very cheap.:thumbsup:

Not sure, it didn't look very safe but I wasn't too up for testing it to be honest. Haha I know price seems ridiculous now looking back but at least I can use this one as a guideline for others I suppose

Cheers. Yeah that would have been a fair price, she said she wanted windows done every 8 weeks so didn't want to go too high but I was thinking the same with regards to painting because it looks naff even though it's clean. Haven't heard back from her yet mind so she might not want me back lol

Myself I think ankalads & microlite standoff's are a brilliant bits of kit for any type of ladder work I do and well worth the money even if you buy them new.

I sometimes still go out on quotes thinking how the hell am I going to do that one. That's after doing some of the most awkward exterior cleaning jobs going. So what I'm trying to get at even that I've had loads of experience I'm still learning but I will not put my life on the line for no one.

I use to get a lot of flack from my missus as it seemed I was always having spend money on something or another to make my job safer and/or easier to do. I still do at times as you never have enough kit to get around all jobs and stuff needs replacing too.

I have just priced a semi that is a renter..

I have done the bottom gutters and windows so how much for the tops..she said.

I dont really like work anymore so not so fussed that she hasnt got back../emoticons/biggrin.png

well I AM trying to avoid a cleaning company and so scared of answering the phone but I cant do that forever and so...yep I have got to do the fascia gutters and windows....and of course...

CANYOUJUSTER.....clean the moss of the small roof at the front..

of course I can..

I dont think I am going to be off work for easter somehow....

got another tomorrow to do and some ******** bloody frank said eight quid so I have to go miles to do an eight quid job ...and I probs wont ever do it again...but ..you never know..

she says...oh its okay we always park there but I will move them when you come.....
