Cheers for the tip, will keep it in mind.To clean the Showa 282’s and stop them smelling like a dead rat, turn them inside out and put them on as usual and wash your hands with shampoo and water then rinse and leave to dry inside out on a rad. When dry turn them back and use as norma. Doing it this way keeps the insulation from separating from the outer layer. I’ve had a full winters use out of them this way. Another tip for the extra cold days I use Moreno wool gloves then nitrile disposable gloves over and then the 282’s warm and dry!
Just wish they stayed waterproof for longer. Maybe my latest pair were faulty as it was 4 weeks at the absolute max before they started leaking. I feel like a few years ago you got a good couple of months out of them. Like a lot of things I suppose these days.
