I use a Gopro 4 Hero (have 2, 1 as spare) and use my phone to view stream via the GoPro app. Never have a problem with it and I've cleared 4 storey flats with no interruption to the feed.
I've tried cheaper alternatives and they've all given me nothing but hassle. I gave most of them to my father in law so that he records the birds on the feeders, up close.
Seriously, Gopro will be a joy for you to use. Easy to mount to gutter poles (both phone and Gopro) and I also have a bracket from Gardiners so that I can put the Gopro in the end of my Xtreme 35 for inspection, quotes ?
