Hello, I mostly do traditional window cleaning but was thinking of getting a backpack system to get hard to reach windows etc and maybe eventually move into water fed pole only. What would be a cheap back pack system. I'm not looking to spend loads as it's only going to be used at first on a few houses where the windows can be a pain. Max spend £150 all in. Is that possible or am I just best stick to my ladders for now.

Thank you

Not gonna do it for £150, more like £350+450 with pole, Di and barrels, if hard water add another 150 for an ro. Why don't you learn to trad pole? Should cover 90% of what you need to for.

Yeh back pack from Gardiner £105, 22Clx Pole £160, 1x 25l jerrycan £6. Then you need to make the water UNLESS someone near you who sells it cheap? Sounds like you’ll only need 25/50Ls a day. £2.00 would more than cover that for someone.... I used to buy my pure (2x back packs & 7x 25L jerry cans and I’d pay a fiver (enough water to do 7hrs of all wfp)

Sorry mate but I'm far from splash and dasher, just didn't look into wfp before I asked a stupid question. Thank you everyone anyway. I'll look into a lot more then I have.

This is very good advice and would would be a good option for you to try as a cheap way to start , buy water to start with if it then works for you get a decent water filtration system suitable for your area

No question is stupid as such, I am going off personal experience I have had a few trad lads approach me when working asking about set up costs and they also assumed poles etc were cheap and didn't realise that filtration systems etc were needed.

I had one bloke non window cleaner asking about me brush and stick and were to buy one, When I told him he would need spend over £500 he walked off  :1f602:
