Well if you got the contracts it's been worth it I'd say
Although don't think it's something I'd offer but then again never been asked to do it so...
I do always give good talk about methods etc and if needed provide references,feedback and that usually is enough

I'd definitely do a trial, but also expect to be paid for it, then you aren't signing a contact so they can ditch you if they want but they also get the windows cleaned! Result!
