Hey. Welcome to the forum....How lovely to see a 3rd w/c on here......Soon we will be overtaking the men hee hee

I have also had this problem the last few weeks, I rinse and rinse and they look all gone, then when I look at a angle there still there, crystal looking things, Any way, I go back when there dry and there gone.

So maybe just rinse a little more than you normally would and see what happens, I tested on my own windows and they really did dry up fine. Good luck. xx

I've been having the same problem as well recently. Glass looks fine, check it again at an angle and there's the odd looking crystal/dust particles. As you say though, they do seem to disappear once the window has dried. Very strange!

Maybe its something to do with the wind storms we had, I really don't know, so glad they dry up ok tho. had a few weeks of worry waiting on a complaint, never got one luckily haha

I am currently having the same problem and it appears to be resin going from the di vessels into the water tank and then obviously up through the pole onto windows. I have been advised to fit an inline strainer between water tank and pump, i have just bought 2 and plan to fit one between di vessels and water tank so that the inline strainer collects the resin before it goes into the tank. I have not fitted them yet so will let you know how i get on when it is fitted. Hope this info helps.

Have you checked that there's is a Prefilter/strainer before the pump? They really advise not to run pumps without them.

I've experienced a similar thing on the windows, little glass like balls but I found them to be air in the water and went after drying
Yeah i am fitting 1 this weekend, i didnt know about the need for 1 up until now. For me though as far as im aware resin should not be leaving the di vessel so even if i fit an inline strainer, there must be a problem with one or both of the vessels for resin to be going into my water tank.

Yeah defo need a strainer bit you are right about the resin, this is not the first time this has been mentioned this month and from what I can piece together, there seems to be more of an issue with some resins rather than an issue with Di vessels

Hi already have a in-line strainer on pump and even put a 5 micro filter before hose, again same problem you clean the glass rinse and it look crystal clear then you wait and you see micro bits all over the glass. and they stick to the glass... I’m so confused now.

my system

4040 to di to tank

tank / inline strainer /pump / reel

TDS is 6 after ro and 000 after di

I’ve even trad a glass micro it and then just rinsed the glass and the same think. So it’s coming from my system. ?

Never had this problem before.
At first I noticed black bits all over window

i open the carbon filter and it was leaking carbon into my ro.
I cleaned and flushed ro.

changed pipes as they had carbon inside.

cleaned tank. Over and over again

and still having this weird problem

any ideas

Something i have heard from other posts and i dont know if this is true or not but some are saying that certain brands of resin are too fine and are still getting through the inline strainer into the tank, if it is true im not sure what resin it is. Im fitting an inline strainer at the weekend and im hoping it will fix it. Something i have noticed tho is that even though there is resin left on the windows which isnt ideal, every window i have checked once dry, it dries clear and resin not visible which confuses me but reassures me that in the meantime its still doing a decent job.
