Flushing 4040 system

Hi, Just wondering how often and for how long does everyone flush their ro system?

We do ours every 2 weeks for about 15mins as that's what we got advised to do when we brought it.

Personally I would flush your system each time you start your R/O for 10 minutes which will save on resin costs.

It will also prolong the life of your resin.

I always flush after filling for 5 to 10mins and same before I fill. Don't think I can do it if my tank is full because the float turns off the tap water.
