That was gonna be my guess but went for the slightly more amusing option :Image13:Well to put you all out of your misery it had the same final results if I had just used cold. Yep just spot free windows as usual. Go figure... :Image13:
not really, mine works out to cost me £1.30 for a whole days work!Wouldn't it cost a fortune using hot water on every single window, weather maintenance or first clean?
well wasnt expecting that with using hot water! must be a first of that happening! :Image3:Well to put you all out of your misery it had the same final results if I had just used cold. Yep just spot free windows as usual. Go figure... :Image13:

My diesel system recirculate the hot water so slowly heats up the tank as the day goes by, so when I have 2 hours to go I turn off heater as remaining water in tank is generally around 35 to 40 degrees.Wouldn't it cost a fortune using hot water on every single window, weather maintenance or first clean?
that costs more than i thought it would do, but then again with the price it keeps rising to!My diesel system recirculate the hot water so slowly heats up the tank as the day goes by, so when I have 2 hours to go I turn off heater as remaining water in tank is generally around 35 to 40 degrees.
Sometimes I run all day with heater and use maybe £3 £3.50 worth of diesel. It's peanuts really considering the earning potential.
for the amount they would draw you would need a very big battery, size of a van, an immersion heater uses 3kwh (3000watts) just for an hour. Can't you get electric ones that connect to battery? Bit like new boilers where it heats on the go, rather then heats water in tank? is immersion right word?
as long as the trades man pays to use the electric or discounts the bill for it!Was looking at this a while ago to maybe make a portable hot water system to be plugged into customers property when wanting just use hot tap water on demand to use for deep cleaning gutters, soffits, fascias, cladding, conservatory roofs etc....
