How many cleans a day on average

I work 5 hours a day all varied stuff and do about £200 a day easily, home for lunch golf in the afternoon, lovely!!

when your staff is working free I would read the small print of your employees insureance as you will fine he wont be covered and again this could come back and ruin you what you need to understand is the laws on there side 100% and if your a sole trader they can take your house off you if you don't follow the law 100% and it ends in court , what you don't understand is the dole office wont give them any money until they look into why they now have no job , and not only that they will help your ex employee to sue youi putting them in touch with the right people

if hes using your van and as a crash you would have a hell of a fight if he wasn't getting paid , because hes not using it for work or s.d.p. they would class him as being a volenter which isn't covered as you need to pay extra for this

I get a lawer to do all my contracts and keep me right when things go wrong its worth the 15 pounds phone call ive had two friends get took to court buy ex workers both have lost both lost arounf 20k each buy the time its all added up have the wrong staff and need to move them on simple no need to keep flogging a dead horse

ive one guy that only does 15 jobs aday , never hits his rate (not by much ) yet plods on day in day out , never moans , we never get any bad feed back and never makes any mistakes , I would have 25 of these types of staff over 10 fast boys any day of the week

Btw, I don't suggest making anyone work for free! They still get their percentage for every house they clean, but if they don't do it on their workday, than they have to go out the day after and finish off.

I set the target at £250 as I know £280 can be done at a push. £250 has a couple of houses leeway.

I like that last paragraph Noddy, I don't employ but definitely think it's about the long term view, slow and steady(well maybe not slow) but why get rsi, burnout and a doctors note, when you can have a steady stream of work completed week in week out. That will be my moto if I ever get me a lad.

Interesting read this, in short its getting logistics right and as one biulds a business this will ge better, I am not there fully as newish to it. I just can not get anwhere near £300 a day lol. 12-15 houses max never do more imo I would be fooked! some rich bods on here £1500 a week or near that impressive anywhere 5k-6k a month. £250 a day is around 5k a month. I hope to aim for this myswlf one day lol that the higher tax bracket area?

Making the good money daily/monthly is down to the round more than the employee

My round never takes me more than 3 miles from my house apart from 2 days a month and is starting to get nice and compact

Parking up and doing 3 or 4 jobs each stop before moving is what makes the money

No need to rush but not dawdling and can do £150 by 12pm with a 9am start

If i had to move for each customer then i wouldn't be able to do that

I can agree there, but not everyone can get a compact round, I have been doing it a year and have a busy round now and still doing my logistics on it and in time will get better and better, but for most, you see them drive up and drive off to another customer. It would be great to have a 3 or 4 in one road, I hope I can get to that one day I have a few like it. I dont think I could clean 5 houses at £10 each each hour for three hours, cleaning windows doors frames and sills. I just can not seem to get anywhere near that. /emoticons/smile.png

It would be great to have a 3 or 4 in one road, I hope I can get to that one day I have a few like it. Don't worry about it. As long as the bills are paid and you have money over for a happy life, that's what matters.

Have to remember as well, just because people say they are earning this massive amount, doesn't mean its true. After being in this industry for over 20 years, the one thing that stands out is certain windies like to think they are top of the tree and exaggerate and know it all.

Sometimes it's necessary to buy a round in order to get compactness. There'll always be windies that have a particular "patch" just another issue if they priced right and if you wanna buy it.

Thank you, I have really worked hard on my round, its pretty compact, compared to a lot i speak to and see, but I only been doing it a year in full now. Its all locla towns to me an have some in the same road soem just round the corner etc. I find it hard to take in the amount people make or the amount of houses, I can only really do 14-16 a day all over £10 plus, so its a good days earning still 150-180 a day it may seem low to some here but I am fussy and do a best job i can with cleaning doors and frame and sills and wiping clean and the little extras, that way i have a good local reeputation and its working well, no complaints and only picking up work from companies doing crap work. lol.

Its the best job, freedom, love it and can only get better as logistically improves.
