Is a Chinese brand with a manufacturer who has a dodgy site! I see they have water quality standard on the packaging which surprised at as EU regulations are very tight on that.

Do you have any other brand left and do a test on both!

    Hi Doug

It might turn out to be rubbish- just like the others I tested!!:D However, as has been experienced by others I've been finding Tulsion to be very unstable over the last couple of years. I've even had some which was bone dry upon opening. One bag will be fine then the next rubbish- it doesn't seem to matter where it's purchased from either. I can only assume either quality control issues or a reduction/change in quality?

Yes, tried Indion- nothing to write home about. The best "was" Tulsion MB115 but as said, it has become increasingly hit & miss with it's quality. Before that was Dowex MB50- fantastic resin, however it has become unavailable for use in our industry now.

There are two streams of Tulsion into the UK and both are different specs. Ours is QC to the highest level so should not be that much difference in performance, The cation is the same but anion different with a higher spec in moisture content and exchange capacity.

However saying that when I've investigated why a persons resin has not lasted it has always been down to the di vessel or tds meter plus increase in water ppm. Our water has just jumped up from 032ppm to 120ppm which will now effect local window cleaners.
