Is it possible to mount an RO vertically?

Evening all.

I will be refitting my van in the spring and was wondering if it was OK to mount the RO vertically?  I'm trying to grab every inch of space as I have too much gear and not enough space...

Yes its ok. I have my 4040 vertically; inlet at the bottom and waste and pure outlets at the top. It also gets rid of the air pockets straight away.

You can only mount the prefilters the right way though with the filter bowls at the bottom.

They prefer to be mounted head down.. i.e: hoses at the bottom end

Had my shurflo pump mounted horizontally in a streamline box since I switched to WFP. It’s now 10 years old and works perfectly ?
