nothing !to be honest I wouldn't bother it will be done on no time ,not designed for that much use ,

You can get a cheap caber reel would be a better job (in my opinion )

did you need to modify it at all? or get any differetn fittings

I used a plastic hoselock reel for over a year and it was fine, ive still got it.

Not bad at all just not as smooth as a metal one but useable
