The manufacturer of Tecbuk brushes says that his brushes are so good you just need 1 pass and no rinse

I bought a Tecbuk with 30% Boars Hair. Fitted a Short neck Gardiner pivot to it. Although not as fast as my Constructors it is still a superb brush, very quick, excellent scrubbing and I rinse on the glass at all times.

Here’s some Gardiner kit I’ve fitted to a Tucker. The bar with fan jets is OK but much slower than the new Hydroblade on my Constructors. Now if you fitted a full spray bar in the same way? ...you’d have created a universal spray bar.

I’ve been sold on them since I started testing the original prototype 18 months ago. No doubt you are aware of some of the early irritations that tended to overshadow a rather unique concept. The current ones with the new green rinsebar are super quick and efficient if used as recommended. That is using Side2Side pivot angling end cap up into the corners and run on an angle along the top of the glass. Now keep in mind I’m in New Zealand and use them on commercial and our residential tends to have large modern glass so the speed factor is substantial. On older homes with smaller windows I tend to break out the Tecbuk (fitted with pivot). There is a new prototype floating around the UK somewhere that I believe will be ideal for you guys. Smaller, lighter and has the ability to slide an auxiliary track into the bottom to convert it to a sill brush. End caps have also been redesigned. Maybe one of the guys on here has had a play with it? Julian Pierce, Jim Allen?

Certainly heavier than you’ll be used to Daniel but I’ve always found that the extra weight hasn’t been an issue. The spray bar combined with pivot and on glass rinse means I spend much less time on the glass. It really will depend on your route whether the extra weight is a dealbreaker for you. As I said above the goal with the new prototype is to create a really lightweight and nimble Constructor that is suitable for all glass in the UK market. As for availability? Doesn’t David Kemp of Vision (Jigsaw Innovations) stock them?

Try the bissell rinse bar. It only cost a few quid and about 5 minutes to fit. They work best with every other hole blocked off.

I have ordered one similar from Gardiner. Over spray bar although I like the coverage on the bissell. You find it works well for rinsing? I'm looking for this for large panes of commercial work.

I've said before and I will say again, for UK maintenance monthly cleans rinse bars are a waste of water,  just not needed but hey, it's your water bill so you spend it how you like!   :1f609:

I don't pay for water over here and I only want the rinse bars for for better coverage on large commercial cleans I do every 3 to 6 months... so happy days suits my situation down to the ground.
