Scratched Glass! Help!

I was going to post a similar topic, so might just add it on here.
I'm cleaning some internal panes for a good customer and there is a stripe down the centre of them. I've tried everything I can think of but it is certainly damage to the glass, probably from how the panes were stacked, and will not shift. The customer has asked if I know any methods to polish it out. Has anyone tried polishing glass? It's not on the pair of windows you can see in the photo. I'm stood behind a large pane of glass, you can just see the stripe catching the light.

Have you tried Unger Rub Out ? Looks like a hard water stain

I would get a specialist in just in case you make it worse or no improvement, I doubt any window cleaner would make money trying to polish out scratches with the time it would take

I'm on an hourly rate there (as the job takes around 2 days a month and it varies each time so really difficult to quote) so I can take as long as I like with it, but I don't want to make it worse.

Ive used the side of the brush loads of times for that and never got scratches. Just tried on an old bit of glass and cant seem to scratch it. But as said, watch out for bits getting caught up in the brush fillaments.
