Hey guys,

I just started cleaning a month ago.

I use Harris 5m pole to do Top and normal trad. For bottom. I'm new and it takes me from 30-60 min to do the front and same for the back. Pole really slows me down... Yet I'm getting better equipment and my speed and skills improve. Yeah!

I love cleaning and it's so fun to squeegee the water off and see how happy the customer is... Since I walk around my arena and mostly get business knocking doors, a ladder would slow me down.

To improve my services and increase skills I'm looking to pour my earnings into backpack wfp and filter. Which one would you recommend ?

I don't have a car and will be pushing around trolley and carrying the water. To make most of it.

I go in with 20-15 £ for doing the front and and never go lower than £10 front or £20 for front and back. 30£ for both sides is that ok? How Fast it take you Guys to clean?

How much do you charge?

Where do you get flyer ideas? Do you do like 40£ one deals on flyers? Do you charge more in affluent areas ?

I'm making money every day and getting repeat businesses. I just need a mentoring please.

When i used to be trad i could do whole days with modified wagtail and harris pole and an average terraced house would take about 10 minutes

You could not charge £30 for it though

you call yourself finest

I call you crazy

you remind me of cheap and cheerful who was on here regular

first of all big welcome to you FINEST

you have been going one month , my own thoughts you have no car I would go all tradional , you canny hump water around all day

Phone a few local window cleaners in your area and see what they are charging... So you are competitive. As at the moment you are over charging.

40 quid a terraced house tell me how u get that
Quite easy. Started off by giving the price £30 for back and front.

Then customer asked me to do the sills, I said its gonna be extra..

Then she wanted me to do the Roof Windows, accessible only from inside the house, I said no problem, gonna cost extra, then she wanted me to do few more Windows from inside, I said no problem, gonna cost extra.

After she asked how much: I just quoted 45£ and said that with a discount. She agreed and asked me come by next month .

Cool! I use simple applicator and a squeegee that I switch all the time..

Will you show me what kind of wagtail you used, Please?

I also mop the frames of all Windows too, clean cobwebs with a duster.

I try to do the FINEST service and always over deliver. Therefore 10-15£ for the front and same for back. I believe wfp will improve the speed.

How much would you charge for terraced house dave?

I charge £8-£10 for a two bed terrace. Usually 4-5 windows and 2 doors.

That's front and back. 10 mins max

Goodluck with your prices though very ambitious

Thank you Dave.12£ for just the front ?

Where about do you clean?
The whole house

That is in Hertfordshire

Where in london do you work?

I used to work w9 and w10 and a lot of nw4 and nw9

The money you can charge is better in certain parts of london but also there are parts where they just won't pay it

See how many hang around as regulars, charge fair and realistic (typicle 2/3 bed terrace for me £10-£12 on 4 weekly, first cleans upto £25 ish) and dividends will pay you much more if your in it for the long haul.

High is ok if you get the odd few but they doubtfully will stick around long. Reg cleans on them take me 10 mins.

Bang on trev. If you've been doing a house for a long time and are a couple of quid dearer than your local competator, no problem. However, if your fairly new in the game and are high priced the customer has no need to be loyal as there is no sense of familiarity

3 bed Terraced round here is about 12 squid but will take 10 minutes
Thank you for the reply Dave.

10 minutes for the whole house?

How do you do it ?

Do you clean frames and sills as well?

Do you also dust off cobwebs?

Thank you

Do you mean 10min for the whole house?

Do you just clean the glass or wipe off frames, sills and cobwebs?

What about dooors?

It takes me a long time to clean the front.. Sometimes even 45 min..
