Me too norm. I dropped a tumble dryer on my big toe yesterday. I thought from the pain I'd taken the nail off after hopping and swearing round the garage for a good 5 minutes, I decided to boot it and put a dent in it :laugh:eh got one and according to googel it could be gout thought only rich gentry type got this

worse bit of that story Green is the wife all day bitIs gout not another term for arthritis?
My old next door neighbor, Colin, used to work for telecoms as a retirement number, he cleaned phone boxes for a living. Well he was 67 and complaining of a sore foot for six months till he could hardly walk, off to the hospital and an x-ray revealed he had broke a bone and as he had not sought medical advice it had set wrong. Oh well out with the hammer and a swift whack to break it again.
A few weeks in a cast at which point telecoms decided to retire him on grounds of health.
Now he gets to put up with his wife all day.
Don't know about you Norm but if it were me given those circumstances I would be in that quacks like a rocket!
i was always told a clip round the ear never did anyone harmIt's funny you say that green, my mate whacked one of his boys a few weeks back and hurt his thumb turns out he has chipped a bone and is currently plastered up to the elbow. A month off work unpaid as he is self employed and legally he isn't allowed to drive as it's classed as an open wound
When I first returned to UK after many years away, I ran into an old girlfriend from school, now with 4 kids and separated pending divorce, (oh what a catch)It's funny you say that green, my mate whacked one of his boys a few weeks back and hurt his thumb turns out he has chipped a bone and is currently plastered up to the elbow.
